Bob Fellows is a professional entertainer who has toured the United States, Canada, and Australia with his captivating and inspiring presentations. He is also a motivational speaker who promotes self-responsibility. Fellows holds a B.A. in philosophy from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin (the childhood home of Harry Houdini) and a Masters degree in Theological Studies from Harvard University. He is the author of Easily Fooled: New Insights and Techniques for Resisting Manipulation.

Bob Fellows began his career with widespread media attention, having appeared on national television shows including “Phil Donahue,” “Leeza,” “The Home Show” (twice each), “David Letterman,” “The American Experience” on PBS, “Mysteries of Magic” on TLC, “Impossible Escapes,” “Masters of Illusion XV,” “Canada AM,” and “Good Morning Australia.” His work has been the subject of feature stories in numerous publications, including the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, the Denver Post, the Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.

Considered a creative force in the magical community, Bob Fellows is an inventor of illusions and routines that are preformed by other magicians from Singapore to Italy to Las Vegas and many places in between. He was a regular performer at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles for many years, and is published in the Mystery School Book.

As a public speaker, Bob Fellows has given presentations to the Department of Defense, the White House staff, 3M, Motorola, Pacific Gas & Electric, Prudential, American Express, the Association for Worksite Health Promotion, the American Association of Counseling and Development, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, the West Australian Ministry of Sport & Recreation, and many other institutions. The United States Air Force contracted with Fellows to perform his full-evening show at nearly all of their bases in the United States. He has also been consulted as a trial expert on “manipulation and deception in groups” in several legal cases, and has published articles on social influence. Fellows was also influential in the skeptical movement in the 1990’s. See SkepticToolbox in Wikipedia.

As an internationally recognized stage magician and illusionist, Bob Fellows uses the skills he has honed over fifty years as an entertainer to create educational presentations that are experiential and memorable.

Bob’s progression from illusionist to mentalist to death-defying escape artist and educator was dramatic, but there was another career move to come. Always learning new skills, Fellows graduated from the Northeast School of Auctioneering in 2016, and is now a licensed auctioneer (see robertfellows.com). Specializing in auctions for nonprofit charitable organizations, Fellows combines his passion for helping good causes with his background as an entertainer.
